This video is before Animal Bikes, before Skavenger, Before Dah Shop, before everything you know now, and everything you thought you knew about NYC BMX. This video features the holy grail of 3 kids from Flatbush / Crown Heights / Brownsville areas of Brooklyn who documented their times and somehow put together a 20min video that was only available on VHS via hand to hand pass offs. Rumor has it, that this video was edited on 2 VCR’s, a stereo, a TV and the camera they used to film.
This film serves as some sort of a time capsule from their point of view of moments from literally all 5 boroughs of New York City during those times. Kick back and enjoy the early stages of Edwin Delarosa, Ruel Smith who’s more commonly known as “WORMZ” and Dah Shop’s owner Tyrone Williams.
Watch this very important piece of BMX’s history as they ride Dirt, Street and even Ramps!
